Last July I bought a bird, a Green Cheek Conure. Then I started playing with watercolors, and painted this portrait! Its got some issues; I made him look a little chubby, the weird thing the paint did near the base of his tail, etc., but I'm still proud of it regardless. I've done like three paintings of him, but I can't find one, and the other, while scanned, wouldn't make as much sense on this site so its only going up on dA.
But yeah. Hand-done in a watercolor sketchbook. Watercolor paints, obviously. Don't remember how long it took, I did it so long ago, but probably only like... two hours.
