This story is a fan work for http://furryexperience.smackjeeves.com/ Furry Experience done with the author's knowledge.
Ellen-Natalie (who owns Ronnie and Vikki, as well as the setting in it's particulars - no theft!) has put together a very solid slice of life comic about three women dorm-mates getting through college life in the heart of Mormon country. The comic isn't particularly preachy (either for or against), is often immensely funny, and occasionally poignant. I unabashedly recommend it.
For background: Ronnie lost all her friends in high school due to a religion-related event, and feels immensely bitter towards the Church of Latter-Day Saints as a result, though she was in that church and knows it's ins-and-outs - Vikki is one of Ronnie's newly made friends at the college, who came to experience a new culture, and promptly got lost in the social scene, until Ronnie helped explain some basic ideas (becoming Vikki's "Mormon Whisperer"). Vikki also came for other reasons, which remain secret; this causes some friction between the two, but Ronnie is letting it lie for the moment, and it's clear both women hope to become closer friends.
I did this piece to explore how I saw their relationship a bit, with Ms. Natalie's kind encouragement. I may do some more bits with the pair.
Comments and constructive criticism are welcome.
