Just small piece of fanart and a tribute to something that means a lot to me, not like anyone will understand it unless they get all the references in it anyway. Only people that know me personally enough May get it. Either wise, enjoy it as a brain fart and feel free to think of it as you would. For those that can figure it out that don't know me, you're awesome for it.

what a mystical place this picture takes place in. a place far off in space where collie spacemen float around enjoying tasty BBQ riblets floating about a planet that fire them into orbit around the planet ofr hungry people of the nearby Doggytopia planet, a mostly water planet with an advanced race of collies that create spacesuits that not only protect them from space but also hide certain over sized appendages that they have been known to sport on their planet. The satellite seen in this pic is off the Riblotron 2K laser concession reproduction device. using a laser to beam up high speed digital info to accurately use a sort of fusion to recreate some of the best riblets in space. making this are a must for traveling families throughout the space colonies.
Mhmm. The guitar is based off the puppy sitting right next to me currently. I put out the extra to buy a real American Fender Strat. I am not disappointed at all with it. I love guitars, I love music. Two and two go together so i started to play and found my genre i wished to play with the group that this picture tributes to.
...You love guitars too? And you have a real American? Oh sweet lord I envy you soooo much, I've wanted a real Fender for the longest time, ever since I started playing. What made you get a Strat over a Tele though, if I might inquire? Most people like the jangly tone you get out of a Tele over a Strat, or was it the versatility of the Strat that caught your eye?
Aye, I got a real A. Strat. Though I worked hard for it. Seriously took me a good year of saving up from work to get one.
Before that I got myself a Schecter C-1 because I was sorta stuck in the limbo of punk and metal ages. And...i found myself unhappy with the whole style of it. So I ended up oddly, finding myself attracted to Surf Rock. Man or Astro-Man? (my tributed to band) caught my interest so much, I ended up getting every single album, learned literally Every song they had to offer, and attempted to come up with my own surf music.
Personally, as far as the choice went...the stratocaster just had a nice feel to it, body wise and size. Compared to a telecaster overall. The pick ups also play an important feel to it, and the strat comes with a decent tremelo system unlike the telecaster without having to ruin the perfect stain and protective gloss coating of a beautiful guitar. I'm a heavy tremelo user when i'm playing. Not like Wham wham wham onto the bar. But using it, a lot for a great portion of my playings. Its just a wonderful guitar. And I don't think I'll ever regret getting it. If I could start all over again I'd probably make the exact same choice.

Now that is a response that clearly took a lot of thought, and one I can get behind. Concise, clear cut, and to the point. Well done sir. I'd like to continue this discussion of guitars and music in dept, for you intrigue me with your talk of owning a real Fender. I find you interesting. *nods*
Its actually all post 80's early and mid 90's sci fi astro rock from the band Man or Astro-Man?
I absolutely love the group. They're my biggest inspiration. Everything here is taken from the name of one of their songs.
The background is based off from one of their CD covers and I changed it about to make it look different but still look quite recognizable like the original, seen here Intravenous Television Continuum
The TV came from the song Miracle of Genuine Pyrex, more so from the video. because Coco the bass player wore a TV on his head in it. But mines not on fire like his was :P
The disgusting looking riblets came from You Can't Get Good Riblets In Space
The rest is just all there. Bermuda Triangle Shorts so on so forth~ :3 Thank you a lot Gravy :D

I had the same feeling like Grawewalker - that this picture somehow references to the good old days like the 80s. Dunno why because after reading through all the comments, I found out I couldn't have gotten it even if I'd really wanted to. But the TV set helmet, and the guitar reminded me of a few TV shows and music I liked when I was a kid. And you know, it was some time ago
My goodness. I can remember many things but faces, names and names of songs and their videos. LOL. I watched so many on MTV back then when they just came on randomly nonstop, and being a kid, I really never cared to pay attention to names but instead to dance (mostly jumping up and down like I was high on sugar) to the songs that did come on. LOL. ^\/^.
I just googled up some of his vids up on youtube. He's a great guitarist. o.o this symphony played one called brother of arms is amazing :o Thanks for letting me know about him x)
And yes <3 i love guitars. They're just so fun to play! more fun then a piano actually. Just holding it and sliding your fingers across those strings is very exciting for some reason.

It sorta is. But the weirdest thing is the way they did it. They really Didn't announce their breakup or really if its one. They did one or two shows back in 2006. Birdstuff gave away most of his drum stuff to the crowd and they sorta just stopped after that, much to everyone's confusion
Unfortunately none of them are right. People keep saying FLCL just because of the robot thing with the tv for a head. Which unfortuntaely has nothing to do with why that tv is on his head. Everything about this picture is a reference / tribute to man or astroman? The background itself is based off of one of the album covers of a MoAM? Everything here is either from a song or something that was visually presented by them.
