The usual allure and radiance of the dance club had come to a halt. It seems that a quarrel between two different groups of visitors had started that night. And, as was usually the case at this time of night, both sides were more than slightly intoxicated. Both parties were shouting at each other, probably over some relationship or cheating scandal. It was reaching the point that tables would soon be flipped, and punches would soon be thrown.
Sir Gallade let out a sigh, watching this whole scene unfold. He had been hired as a bouncer for the night, mainly because an important official had been at the dance club that night. However, the official had left before the arguing started, and Gallade was still hired out for the rest of the night, stuck here until morning. He had been watching the scene for some time, waiting to see where things were going. However, when the tension peaked and it seemed that violence may start soon, it seemed safe to say that it was time to step in.
Most of the people in the club were crowding around near the center, forming a circle and watching the two groups as hostility grew between them. Several of the more timid girls in the crowd were clinging tightly onto the arms of their partners. Still, other males and females were cheering on both groups, eager to see what would happen. It was at this moment that Sir Gallade looked across the room, fixing eyes with a wolf by the name of Ming. He was resting across against the far wall of the club, not getting involved with the current struggle. The two exchanged glances with each other and, without any words, both walked towards the front of the room. Gallade would snap his fingers and point to the DJ and Light Expert, getting their attentions right away.
The crowd of people that had formed suddenly turned around as lights began to blare and music began to play again. Gallade and Ming were both striking poses in the center of the dance floor, each giving a cheeky sort of smirk. Gallade's green and white suit contrasted nicely with Ming's sleek and tight-fitting kimono. Even the groups of people who were moments away from fighting had their attentions fixed on the two.
"If you are going to fight..." Ming started, the music steadily growing louder.
"At least do it on the dance floor." Gallade finished, rolling up the sleeves of his dress shirt.
Perhaps it was the drinks flowing through everyone's blood, or even the captivating sensation of the light and music, but everyone in the dance club seemed to forget the hostility from a moment ago. Soon people were cheering as the dance floor was filled with more people. The rest of the night continued like this: loud noises, bright lights some intimate dances... all with two stylish dancers at the center of it all.
