Project I did for a class. The assignment was to identify a trend in today's culture and create an image about it. The trend I chose is the commercialization and simplification of music. The assignment also included an essay, but I won't bore you with that.

Musical notes and staffs and things are just flat meshes. So I modeled those, stuck a modifier on to subdivide them a few times so they'd bend easily, then set them to deform along a curve. Then I used lattices to make them get a bit smaller as they got closer to the mics.
Then photoshop for glow, yadda yadda.
