Close is when they get a talon into your cheek! *chuckles* Its stressful, let me tell ya! being the care-giver of these animals is not easy. I wake up every morning with a knotted stomach.

Well it's probably tougher to identify since he's still in his juvenile plumage, but Kyd is a red-tailed hawk. Well, juvenile and you cant see his tail, or what he has left of it...

I used to be a falconer, yes. Not so much anymore because my current job delivering pizza has me working too late to really get up the next morning and see the birds I worked with. ;v;
