Here's an uncomfortable thought: what's behind Artemis's face plate? She (I assume it's a "she" based on the name) looks like she's a jackal due to her ears--or at least another canine species--but there is no room for a muzzle behind that mask judging by how close it is to where her ears begin.
Either that, or Artemis is a different species or being that I don't know about.
