My dog killed one of it we had as pet also.
They both were playing and the cockatiel hopped into the dog's mouth.... and dog had to sneeze.
Danny - the dog - realy missed him.
But it's yeeeaaars ago^^

I've always wanted a cockatiel as a pet since I was a kid. I just love their colors, their beaks and crested heads and orange cheeks. One of, if not my fav. bird of all. :3

My class had one, and I loved it. Ever sense then i wanted one but sadly we have cats and birds and cats don't get along very well.

I have to agree with you. They are lovable birds, and can be loyal. (I call mine the attack bird or bird alarm, when ever somebody walks in the house he starts squawking until we say hello to them)
