Definitely inspired by watching War & Peace on BBC.

I've been doing a lot of traditional painting for college these past months, and I think it's really helped me improve my digital painting skills. I used to use so many different layers for photoshop paintings, but now that I'm used to painting on canvas again, I prefer just one layer. Though it can be more challenging, I like blending everything like real paint.

I'm very happy with this piece, and I like to think it's a result of the master studies I've been doing in class. I hope to make more art like this in the future!
