Yeah, her old SMG was a .45 with no compensator and she could get decent groups with that, so this was a lot easier to handle than she's used to.

*Nods* Hopefully it'll work well for her. I'd prefer the .45; the 5.7 has a tendency to 'icepick' unarmored targets.

Well, luckily (?) Aludra's potential enemies are top-drawer national militaries with comparable budgets to their own, so body armour is pretty likely, plus you have the issue of some people being twelve to nineteen feet tall which means you need AP performance when they're not wearing armour to hit anything remotely important (and crew-served weapons when they are). They based the Type 70 on a Chiran bullpup SMG which used a round that was basically their 6mm intermediate AR cartridge cut in half with a lighter bullet.

(Alcacians are also why Continental armed forces doesn't use anything that fires an intermediate round and probably never will)

Aside from the fact you're an amazing artist I think one of the best parts of your work is the world you've created. It's so detailed and full of life, I really like seeing the pictures you draw of the characters as well. They're all so unique and different from each other.
