yes, I finally hopped on the band wagon of godzilla fans and did my own pic of the new godzilla.
my thought on the new godzilla design are really mixed, yes the new design is pretty dam ugly, but in this case I think that is a good thing because it truly shows what a dinosaur would like if it was mutated my nuclear radiation, he looks like a burn victim from it with half his flesh ans skin melted away. that being said, I still have my beefs with this design, the arms look was to small to be very useful for anything, the tail looks way to long, they eyes kind of look goofy, and the texture of his skin is so lumpy that his face becomes confusing at certain angles. but I am happy that toho studios is finally wanting to godzilla movies again and that the franchise lives on, I don't see this being a favorite among fans, but if this is successful enough hopefully there more godzilla to come after this one.

I share your misgivings about this design. Here's hoping this is a one-time suit as they have done in the past (All Monsters Attack for instance). There is a lot of influence of the 54 original here. I call him Zombie G. The bright side being, btwn the american series and hopefully more Japanese movies, G-Fans are gonna benefit.
Oh, and the producers have promised that Legendary G is gonna get more screen time next time around.

yeah, i hope so too, i hope this movie is to get the ball rolling just to see if it is worth it for tho studios o make godzilla movies again. yeah, it certainly does make G fans really happy to have both a american godzilla series and japanes one going at the same time. i really hope the legandary godzilla does get more screen time, i like that godzilla.
