They say black cats are bad luck but I think these folks are the unlucky ones, for they simply do not know the love a black cat can give. Bastet is such a beautiful cat and she's been instrumental in my work in my community. She's helped children who wouldn't speak, find their voice. She's been in court rooms soothing those who have suffered severe emotional abuse. And for a 3yr old cat, she carries her duties with the surprising wisdom that would only be seen in an elder cat. So no, I see no bad luck in her, only a pure heart, soul and spirit.
