This is a story I wrote for my Comp. II class last year. It's a nonfiction story about one of my experiences in Marching band before one of our competitions.

We came back with several 1's ((highest you can get)) in several categories. We didn't win, but Front Line got a 1. That was the Crash Symbols, Suspended Symbols, Marimba, Triangle, Tambourine, Gong, Bells (type of metal xylophone), & a bass drum. I was the only person on front line for that performance since the bass played a football game that same day and the other guy who played the symbols was sick. It was my first time earning a 1 while in the front line, and seeing as how I did it by myself. That's an accomplishment ^^
