So ive had this idea swimming in my head for a good while now about an otter character that's obsessed with mermaids, maybe it could be a kids book in the future, idk, but anyway, these are sketches of me trying to figure out how this character will look

started out with a river otter, but then switched to a sea otter, drew from some references and struggled with how to draw a sea otter and make her look cute and girly since their so mustachy xD

and eventually i found a good head shape that seemed to make a good balance, and added the fluff for character.
i also gave her a big brother for comedy, totally inspired by the relationship between me and my own brother

i think i'll name them Cleo and Kai
i plan to make pieces about them later on. No porn though
