I hardly see any fanart of FF8, especially Squall in particular. So many said it was bad, but I don't understand why. :(

FF8 was and still the only FF game I've played... and still have yet to beat it after all these years... came close in the final boss but felt so defeated. T.T

It's because it was a vastly different battle system.. and I honestly think people hated it because it was hard for them to understand. I thought it was one of the best myself... people also hate on that Squall was moody.. but for what it's worth.. he's 17 in game.. of course he's moody.

There was a lot of teen angst going around between Him and Rinoa alone. XD I could relate a lot to Squall though, so I didn't mind him at all. One I found annoying was Selphie and at times Zell and Irvine in their own ways.

I will admit, the story felt good up to the 2nd disc (or after the garden battle), then I feel it loses focus a bit from there, but makes the transaction smooth as possible.
