Done, the helmet is finished.
Replica of the Hallstatt D1 (around 600 BC) double ridge helmet from Kleinklein,Steiermark Austria.
Yea the crest has fjordhorse coloures, a deference for my Fjord Oberon, who paricipated with me on a few battles.

There are not many Hallstatt re-enactors in Europe, this time period is very hard to reconstruct, so there are not many helmets out there except the originals^^ And the armourer wanted nice pictures from the helmet with other gear, so i posted him these pictures for his website and the helmet is great so i have no problem wo be a commercal moddel for this helmet :-P Sure the crest is inspirated from Oberon and fjords, and it looks just great^^. The helmet weights with crest around 4.5kg so yes it has his weight.
Yes it is, love that helmet a lot. The original: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/.....dge_helmet.jpg
Neat, but i still prefer the originals and accurate replicas. I'm still thinking, maybe i will get a new sona, of the early iron age, so around 800 BC. called Diomedes, based on the historical king Diomedes and the Heracles Mythos, as Heracles has to pass the challenge to clean Diomedes's stables with his carnivorous war horses XD Could be kinda cool sona.
You mean helmets like Novo Mesto in Slovenia: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe....._Negauhelm.jpg
But that are no early celts anymore, that was around Latène C2 as they conquered Rome. So the middle celtic period. But exhept the vine and some ceramics and metal works, the celts stayed less influences by the mediteraine cultures in later periods. Not all but the majority, till the downfall of the celtic culture around 60BC in central Europe and 60 AB with Budica. It's not a linear exchange.
