More of my world, Lunaku. This is a building in Decroit {Dee-crow-it} Lunaku, basically a rip-off of Detroit Lol. In Lunaku Stoic actually means strong {pronounced sto-ic}. This was once a very fancy hotel. Originally built in two phases. The old section to the right is 120 years old and made from wood and masonry. The new taller section to the left was built 90 years ago out of steel and masonry. Decroit is famous for its ornate old hotel buildings, some of the prettiest in the country. Its also know for producing cars, but more recently for their huge poverty rate. After about half the human population left to settle on other planets they left behind primarily the anthros and the poorer humans. The Stoic hotel was one of many converted to slum housing. Here you can rent a small apartment or even a room by day, week, month or year. Most have the option of rent-to-own so at least you can get your money back when the next person pays for the room if you move out.
Sorry for the long description ^^" I really get into my work XD

So many interesting background you draw for your pics, all the details really bring out the feeling that these locations are run down as if there's been years of neglect for the structures in your drawings.
Basically speaking the locations themselves are characters with character, one really feels the plight of the folks housed in such places.
The art alone tells a story, and the words add to it so you get a real feel for the place.

* One great big wolf who'd never put folks out of home no matter how bad the home looks on the outside, as it's still someone's home *

Awesome.
I would like to be an architect as well. Trouble is the cost and the fact that the city I am in has no architectural school. As a result I just went into business school with a major in management information systems.
If, by chance, you do go to college for architecture to become an architect specializing in older buildings you could specialize in the form of architecture that renovates and / or maintains antique and other historical buildings.
In Savannah Georgia, for example, has many historical and antiquated buildings. Many have been renovated for modern multipurpose use. The outside looks original but the insides are hollowed for the Savannah College of Photography. Others were simply maintained such as the local city Catholic cathedral that houses the seat of the Catholic Bishop of Georgia.
