Realised I hadn't done any photos fro myself in a while... Thought I would remedy that!
So have Blizzard posing by my XS850 looking all badass and shit, ya know :P
Photo taken with a Nikon D5200 with a 35mm 1.8 lens. Post processed in Photoshop with Raw editor and a Topazlabs plugin that I haven't used in a long ass time!

It was a good learning bike, great for long cruising too.
Currently re-habbing a low mileage (for me at least) '89 FJ1200 I just got ahold of.

Over here, licencing laws mean that a learner bike can't exceed 125cc! So I learnt on a Yamaha RD125.
This XS is the first bike Ive owned over 500cc, with my last bike being a little Bandit 400 (hidden over the left side of this photo!).
I have to agree, they're a very comfy machine and I can see it pulling through the miles nicely. Want to try and get a different exhaust system though, as the one on there are the moment sounds very muffled... and I know there a triple roar that can be released by doing so!!
That FJ of yours looks like a beautiful example though! Really really clean! :D
All of my bikes have always been a bit on the tatty side, this XS included, and photos show up the best in it :P

Yeah, there is that side of things... the carbs on my one have been changed for a set of Mikuni ones from a Triumph triple and a RAM pod filter is on the back of each of them instead of the original airbox. Its already had a lot of time spent on tuning it in to run right! Dont really want to mess that up too much :P
I forget that most of the US gets a bit of a low grade fuel compared to what we get here in the UK, never had any issues with fuel here, takes a fair while before it really starts to go off a bit.
Shame about the FJ's last owner, it does look smart, but Im guessing there are a few hidden mechanical gremlins with that description! :S
