So I realized I didn't have any TRUE scalies in my roster (not counting the f0x clone). I kept going with salamanders! XD So I figured it was time to design one and I realized I never saw one with pigtails so I made this! I imagine her hair is very stiff and spine-like.
The design was very experimental and certainly evolved into something I didn't expect. I'm thinking of naming her Rozalind or Rozzie for short. I kinda imagine she has a jersey accent for some reason.
Also! I need to use gradients more often! ONE of the color layers has a SLIGHT gradient. I was having trouble making her look lizardy in the color scheme so I Googled "pretty lizard" and grabbed colors from there. Thing is the lizard was partly blue-green and partly yellow-green and I couldn't get a good middleground. Then I realized if I just did a gradient like the actual damn animal...well...I'm pleased with the results now XD
Though I don't know if this would be part of her FURRY canon, one thing that always amused me a bit as a scalie was the reptid/reptillians conspiracy theory. A part of me kinda likes kicking around the idea of a girl who has no idea she's a reptid. Would make a good comic/anime. I'm only now realizing with the accent I'm thinking of and the name Rozalind, her parents could TOTALLY be part of the Illuminati reptid conspiracy! XD
