A knight of purpose. a Mortal man with no emotion, but a soul all my own. If I could but seperate heart and flesh, a better man would I become.
Alas that coiled dragon, unrequited love, lies coiled fast about my heart and no weapon could ever slay him. If only the human lying deep within could be quenched, the dragon would have no hold.

My word, beautiful lines and an amazing quote. The darkest beast lay within, friend, and it is truly an honor to know that others have come to accept this. However true your words have been, another truth can be seen. For a beast shall rest within us all, but to his whim we shall not fall. Let it live, let it thrive, but let it know it just survives. For without you, it is nothing, no beast controls your whim. You make the choices, you call the shots, and you are everything to him. So your words hold truth, time and again, but that coiled dragon which we fear can always be held within.
*smiles and kisses her forehead softly*
The dragon drinks so I haven't got to. He's my stalwart companion.
But hey, within every human being lies a small bit of that infinitesimal strength. that raw power that some perceive through greed, some perceive through faith, and others perceive through control.
In every person there lies the capability to see beyond themselves. to forsake themselves and their comfort, to make another person happy.
And when you give as good as you get, hun. That's what we call love.
