Ok, I have to ask.
At what point did Theran become the defacto say-so for what this group does enough for Karma, of all creatures, to go to a place he damn well should be running screaming in the other direction of? Also, why would Kaeden go back? People have to know about him being an escapee. On principal putting him back into that place should be top priority.

Theran's charismatic, Kharma is infatuated with him and sadistic enough that the prospect of toppling an institution like Volgrad gives him a special kind of hate-boner, and Kaeden isn't the sort to let things go un-avenged. As for his being an escapee, it was several years ago that he escaped, and into an ocean several days from any other shores; he's been written off as dead by Volgrad itself, much as the group aren't to know that themselves just now. :3
watch jax's hair jump back and forth... from over his left eye to (panel 1), over to his right eye (panel 2 and 3), then back to over his left eye (panel 4), then back to right (Panel 5), then back to the left eye (panel 7), and finally back to the right eye (panel 7)... that hair must get annoying :P
