Here is one more comic strip gag with 'Sergei' the fat lion - this time set in a posh restaurant, with a somewhat snooty simian waiter. The bobcat points out to the monkey that - whether or not this is his table - the waiter shouldn't keep his customer waiting so long! Especially a customer who growls in stereo!!
NOTE: This is one of the few gags that did not make it into my gallery in "The Round House". With the exception of the "Fat Furs Mailing List", you are seeing this classic comic of mine for the first time!!

"Growls in stereo" *snickers* Yup, that'd get this wuff's attention, and he's a predator himself! *grins*
Sadly, Vargr has gone to a couple places with service like that. One of them wuff was willing to give a bit of a break, as it was their opening weekend and Vargr figured the staff and processes were still pretty "green". Thankfully, that one did improve, for which wuff was grateful (the food was pretty good despite the service).
Another got one repeat visit with a repeat of the same poor service. Wuff filled out a "customer review" card to that affect, and hasn't been back since. Never got a reply from the management on the card report either. Not surprisingly, that place isn't in business any longer. As t restaurant 'gurus' say; "good service can make up for mediocre food, but no amount of good food can make up for poor service".
