Some prehistoric/extinct friends!

First we have the andrewsarchus, which may at first glance seem like a very hefty thylacine or canid, but is infact closely related to hippos and whales. It had hoofed toes and powerful jaws.

Elasmotherium was a rhino the size of a mammoth, closely related to the better known wooly rhino. I gave this one a coat inspired by Bashkir curly horses, in part because it had long legs designed for horse-like galloping.

Next is the DODO who you all know and love. The name is basically synonymous with EXTINCTION and they are regarded as spectacularly ill equipped, stupid animals (THEY'RE NOT THOUGH THEY WERE JUST FEARLESS), so I thought giving a spin on it as something elegant and cute would be fun.

AND LASTLY THE MIGHTY MEGATHERIUM, a genus of elephant-sized ground sloths endemic to South America that lived from the Early Pliocene through the end of the Pleistocene. And yes I just copypasted that from wikipedia. They're cool.
