My tribute to the wonderful experience that was Okami - ten years old today :D
It's been a very long ten years, and honestly it feels like longer - but I suppose that's just because of the effect it has. So much art, so much love, so much music has come from this game - so much inspiration and creativity stemming from this game. It was a joy to play from start to finish, with some of the most unique music and artwork I've ever seen, with some fun gameplay and delightful storyline. There's a reason it's top in my favourite games of all time, after all.
As for the art - well, I tried something a little new here! A little testing out of painting techniques, with mixing in a bit of blending and dilution and the like. A lot of it evades me, and it certainly shows, but it's intruiging and I'd love to learn more. Anyone got any tips to share to help out? :D
Well, regardless! Okami is game that will stand the test of time for sure. To Clover Studios, thank you for an amazing experience. And to you guys - enjoy.

Ten years ... wow.
The music together with the pictures totally changed my impression of the game. Now I've to play it.
I never had a PS2 and got a Wii to late to consider playing the game. Plus the test of the game (Wii-Version) that I've read mainly focused on the changed game mechanics (as far as I can remember). That sounded to boring and indifferent. And it has not been a game with "ACTION" and "EXPLOSIONS" but with art.
