For we will not remember you.
We will remember only the snapping of your bones and your gurgling, choking gasps as Its tendrils, burrowed deep within your every tissue, forced you shambling back to us.
We will remember only how the light of your eyes was not your own, but that of Its corruption.
We will remember only the bitter odor of your last rattling breath, thick with Its spores, as we cut you down.
And we will remember only the rapid swelling of your belly in the moments just after your death, and the burst of cancerous, hate-filled flesh that issued forth to seek out and devour our hearts and minds.
