Qiao makes a good point here. That recent so-called 'victory' attached to his name is meaningless given that Command was taken from him partway through - perhaps only to him, but that does count for a lot - so I'm not surprised that Qiao's feeling so down the Crew is noticing.

Have you thought about breaking those gigantic speech bubbles into smaller ones on another page? Maybe you can make a page "19b" with panels showing different views of those two talking and make that page's speech bubbles out of this giant one.
