Indeed, it's a simple picture, but the lighting is smooth and effective.

yea, during the sketch phases was the only part that took the most time as I had alot of things to rework. And the hand position was a little difficult for me as I've never really drawn anything where the characters hands were over the face.
The shadowing was actually doubled. I had actually done my own shadowing with color the used the filter effect in oC for lighting. I think it actually made the shadowing better than what it was before.

XD thank ya Ruffy ^^ *hug* It amazed me since it was the first drawing of a pokemon asides pikachu. The lighting effect on the ground is something that I am proud with how it turned out (especially the flame that is emitting the light on the ground ^^)

First thing that spotted in this pic, was the thing that this Charmander has fur. That's makes this pic very unique, in my opinion. =^_^=
I also like the way you have colored this pic. It's nicely done.

I actually had the idea from an existing drawing online by someone by Suta Raito, I think it is. I just used that fuzzy idea and applied it to my own drawing of charmader.

I've actually seen a fuzzy Charmander pic somewhere, I can't remember just where. I think it was by someone named (or who goes by) Suta Raito.
