Obituary: Marie was a happy woman when she was alive, neither poor nor rich, beautiful nor ugly. She worked a regular job, made regular pay, all for the sake of one day being an author. Her Mother, an old fashioned house wife, felt that she should have found herself by now and not waste her time with her books and her laptop. Marie always told her Mother that 20 was just too young for her to settle down and have a family… she needed something more.

One night, while Marie was taking a bath, her Mother barged in. She was in one of her crazy rants when she spied several books and Marie’s laptop (plugged in) which was opened to an e-mail site. She was so upset that in her blind rage she threw all the books and the laptop into the tub with Marie.

Marie never had a chance to tell her Mother the good news. Her book was being published… she was going to be an author. Her Mother didn’t find out either, for when Marie didn’t retort to anything she was saying, she reached into the tub to grab her, and got shocked herself.

Rub a dub dub, two dead women in the tub.
