I love the style of A Scanner Darkly. Although I believe that one was done with rotoshapes.. x_x

Yes, the movie was ok... it was the animation that made it awesome! And not rotoshaped but a technique called interpolated rotoscoping... using a program called Rotoshop. Impressive still, the keyframes were all done by hand. ^^

And well, yes, I do attend AI. It was my first choice school but was between here and RMCAD. The ultimate decision was made I went when the one giving me the scholarship ^^

I am enjoying AI actually... SO much. It's been the greatest experience of my life and I'm happy to be here. Horror stories!? :( I haven't heard any of those yet.

I would love to meet you in person too, since you don't live that far away at all ^^ No, we didn't meet at RMFC last year, unfortunately I couldn't go. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to but my High School Graduation was the SAME WEEKEND... I was not very happy about that. Now they might not even have it at all this year. *crosses paws that they get things together*

Hm... I guess I could agree with you there. My roommate Josh is in GD so yes, there's a lot of teaching programs right now for him. The animation program is a lot about learning programs too, but that's to be expected. Everyone does take color theory and fundamentals of design to start out though... And some of the classes are a bit large, like maybe a max of 25 students in some but most of my class have been more like 15ish.
