Kharma is still sufficiently infatuated with the burly idiot we call a protagonist to go along by proxy; and if there's one thing Kharma loves more than wry sarcasm and ogling muscly lions and geckos, it's schadenfreude, and the opportunity to see some religious types suffering appeals to him greatly.
As for Kaeden... well, any excuse to punch things is a good one, and if he gets to punch people who are a few years overdue some revenge-beatings, then all the better.

I found this page amusing enough that it caused me to laugh out loud. I just love each of their reasons for going and I'm pretty sure (if the situation were a little less serious) I could imagine a little love heart floating around inside Kharma's head at the thought of Theran and Kaeden wrestling each other to protect him XD lol
