Paw Fashion: Snowboarding boot
Did anybody not see this coming? ;) Obviously inspired by my recent foray into snowboarding and the subsequent artwork, it naturally followed that I should dust off the old Paw Fashion template and properly show off my own take on what snowboarding boots might look for for a digitigrade. Like real-world snowboarding boots these are stiff and heavy, treaded to allow walking on snow but not allowing for very much flexibility. The upraised sole section beneath the heel is meant to slot into the highback of the bindings; coupled with the toe and ankle straps it should secure the wearer's paws soundly to the board, just as in the real world.

Hehe! I recently tried snowboarding for the first time and really enjoyed it (hence the previous submission in my gallery) and I always enjoy designing anthro versions of interesting footwear. I'm eager to get back and do more soon! Very glad you like the boots!
Thanks much! :) Yeah, it sure felt interesting to wear them (real world human ones I mean, obviously) with how heavy and stiff they were. Certainly made your feet feel rather solid!
Moonboots would be a very fun idea, I may have to keep that in mind for a future design! I've always liked moonboots. Closest I've done so far was this design https://www.furaffinity.net/view/5119564/ meant to be sort of an expedition pac boot sorta thing, but a moonboot would be fun!

Hehe! The whole project has kinda been on hiatus for a while, but fun having another idea to do. Closest I've done to riding boots so far are probably these ones https://www.furaffinity.net/view/5680734/ but obviously more intended for motorcycle riding than horseback... though I imagine the result would have similarities! Nevertheless, I won't rule out the possibility. ^^
