The mid-morning sun was already lancing through the windows by the time Jay wandered out of his bedroom. The kangaroo rat grimaced. Not at the light, but because he'd slept in and missed his roommate heading off to work, again. He yawned, and waddled off towards the kitchen with a faint crinkling noise following him…

Well, it looks like Jay got a special present from a friend. He looks so cute in it! Too bad he forgot to check things out before he tried it on, and now he's stuck in it until his friend gets back home. It's a good thing he's all padded up, isn't it? ;)
A commission I got from ludis-luteo, based on a fun concept I've seen in a few of his pictures of snaps and locks that're designed so that big babies can't get them undone. And it came out super adorably! I've also written a little story to go with it, which you can find at the link up there or right here. I was going to include it with this upload, but it was over two thousand words long and I know that a lot of you babies just like to look at the pretty pictures and not read big kid words. Enjoy!
