Just like with my previous pic, I try to get more in a direction of a more sophisticated style, playing with fur texture and lighting and such. Also backgrounds, because I want to do more of them too.

You've got a nice contrast of texture and understanding of directional hue evident in the piece. If I could suggest for next time - there's a difference between having fur lit from behind in hue and value. So far it takes on that hue, but seem to get darker... backlit fur would benefit from rimlighting here, as would the plant. You might want to try a few monochromes with strong light sources and see if that doesn't affect your style of distinguishing planes like this.
