A week ago I attended the Jewish Food Festival and pigged out on the grub I could afford (apologies to any pigs that take offense to that analogy).
One of the attractions was this elderly veteran, Mr. Mumford, representing the Jewish veterans of Arkansas. He was selling a few painting he'd made over the years, but what caught my attention the most (the paintings were nice and I bought one for a friend) were his uniforms. Especially this one with the wicked looking patch (and that's wicked in a cool way, not a negative meaning).
He explained that he was in the 18th Field Maintenance Squadron in the Air Force and while stationed in Okinawa, he commissioned a local to make a patch for his unit. This is what he came up with. I'd say that artist did a fantastic job.
I know this isn't a furry picture, but the creature isn't human, so I'll allow it.
If you're curious to see the rest of the pics, you can view them on my DA page: http://lazyrayfinkle.deviantart.com.....-Food-Festival
