"Diz found it simple to traverse the wilderness of his homeland marsh. His body, built from decades of battle and unrelenting combat, flexed and tensed as he sprinted across the forest floor in fear for his life. He narrowly bypassed trunk after titanic trunk of the local foliage and he knew all to well what he was soon expected to pass.

The sound of thundering feet behind him assured him he had no other choice but to make the jump. As the forest soon thinned, ultimately clearing all around him, he saw the gorge before him with its three hundred foot drop into certain death upon jagged rocks and sharped stakes. The crocodile had no choice now, it was thirty feet across and he knew if he hit no hindrances before he got to the cliff's edge he could make the leap.

His feet couldn't fail him now, he could tell, now, that his pursuer was hot on his heels and he dared not look back. He only aimed his gaze forward, his legs flexing, threatening to lock beneath him. He held his breath, found his footing, and made a leap of fate with eyes on the other side..."
