I was walking around outside the workplace this afternoon, and I had to grab my cell phone to get this picture of an Eastern Painted Turtle sunning himself. I didn't get too close, as I didn't want to spook him.
Granted, he couldn't have run very fast, but he seemed to be enjoying himself, so I didn't disturb him.

Been 'Owned' by Red-Eared Sliders/Painted turtles, for nearly 25 years now. (egads)...
And, don't be fooled. Those little suckers can HAUL ASS, when they want to! (they not tortoises!)
