This is a picture I've been working on for a while - a piece of fan-art for 
zee-zee 's comic "Football Cubs".
Unfortunately, it had been too long since I drew anything this complex and my art skills, always mediocre at best had degraded to the point that I had a really difficult time even composing this drawing. Still, I think it turned out passably well especially now that digital touch-ups and pencil crayons have concealed the worst of my mistakes.
To be perfectly honest, I don't know much about sports much less the 'Friendship Cup', but it seemed like such an adorably babyfurish concept that I couldn't help wanting to draw a picture based on the trophy. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any references to the cup itself so the actual silverware featured in this drawing may not be especially accurate...
Also, there's probably a moral somewhere in this too, but I haven't decided quite what it is yet. I do hope everyone likes it though! *hugs*

Kaffre's more of a mild cat, but I can see the resemblance now that you mention it...
Also, for what it's worth, I personally intended the violence depicted to be very two-sided despite Kaffre's victory in reclaiming the cup (which Norwich have retained for most of its history even though Sunderland have, arguably, been the more successful side during that period)
