Weeeeell, that was quick. Yeah, I'm definitely trying to get these redesigns as quickly as possible, which I'm sure you guys can understand as well as I can. So let's not waste any more time and get to Leslie "King" Kingston!
Unlike the other characters in the lineup, King didn't get so much as a mere art upgrade as he got a complete overhaul. This is something that I've wanted to do with him for a while, because the series was just getting FULL of dogs, and I wanted to keep the "blue fur" as being Danny's thing, so King had to get a complete change from the ground up- even down to his species. But I'm honestly really happy with King now, he definitely stands out as a more unique character in terms of his design, though his personality is largely unchanged. Plus, nothing wrong with including another fellow marsupial, isn't that right, Noah? ;D
King is the third member of Furball's delinquent crew, along with Tyler. While Furball is the leader, and organizes the team, and Tyler operates as brute muscle, King is the brains, which help make up for lithe appearance and short stature (he's only taller than Kitty and Martin) by being a quick thinker. However, he also has his hidden array of "skills", such as a surprising and extensive knowledge of kung fu, as well as being a proficient sharpshooter. He is also a huge comic book nerd, and will constantly ramble on about his favorite heroes unless someone shuts him up, or gets left alone (though he'll probably keep talking).
So yes, King is someone to not be underestimated despite what he looks, but he's still generally a nice guy, and is always quick to help someone in need. And with that, only two left to go- and ALL the Timeless guys are finally ready! Only two ladies left to go! :D
