I love Mountain Dew. Favorite is Voltage. So, when I heard they were doing a contest to phase out either Pitch Black, or Baja Blast, I went to my local store to pick up some Pitch Black and Baja Blast to compare. Baja Blast just has a more refreshing flavor to me, so I'll be voting for that flavor.
Me and my roommates then decided to pick up one of each flavor the store had in bottles, and taste them all, then rank them all from least to most favorite. We haven't done the test yet, but when we do, I'll record the results here too.

You'll probably be voting for the winner then, because this is the first time I've even heard of Pitch Black. Which, given how much time I spend in various stores cursing that they don't carry Kickstarts, likely means anyone around here that ever stocked it couldn't sell it.
Me personally, I'd say classic Dew first, Black Label second, Baja Blast third. . .
And, umm. . . After that, I've either never tasted them or thought they tasted like pipe cleaner.

Argh... I wish they'd bring all the flavours to Canada. We only have the regular, Voltage and rare Code Red. We had Super Nova and Whiteout only for the promotion to decide which flavour should stay. Still haven't had Livewire or Baja Blast yet. So many good things they won't bring to us!
yeh, altho id much prefer the other dews first myself, since with the different pepsi/coke ive had, the difference in taste isnt as great as id like, and more like a hint of somethin else being added but still mainly the base drink. whereas the different dews tastes are completely different from each other in comparison x3
I think Livewire is massively underrepresented. Code Red? You can get that in cans and get a decent deal on it in bulk just about anywhere. Voltage, same thing. I think even Baja Blast was in half-cases or better for a while. But Livewire? Man, haven't seen that in cans since the last time I was in Ohio.
