Tiger man's head, in Faber Castell felt-nib pen and Derwent watercolour pencil.
Me seeing if I could get the felt-nibbed pen to do lines as tiny as the miniature dip-nib pen I used to use. The answer is just about yes, but the pen needs to be angled right over so that the metal surround of the nib touches the paper, which is a bit hard on the wrist. The dip-nib pen was never ideal either, though. If the ink consistency wasn't right it would drop blobs or not work at all. If the nib caught on the paper it would splatter little droplets all over the place. And, of course there was always the danger that the cup full of ink would get tipped over and spill everywhere...
Maybe I need a fountain pen that has its own ink supply or something. Do those even still exist?
