I've been lax with new art lately (ok, maybe not THAT lax, as the '06 one is recent), so what better way to kill some time than to dig through over a decade's worth of crud drawings and see how much I've improved (or not, as is the case)? For fun, it doubles as an evolution piece of sorts for my two top Cuedow critters, Rayus "Lightning" Asttrak the Tornadow (arrow-tipped tail) and Stallion the Guardian Kentarudow (the, uh, 'taur). If you can't tell by the earlier pics, they were at one point Sonic the Hedgehog fan-characters (they were never Mobians themselves, but aliens from the planet Saturnia/Satarnis. They DID live in Mobius at one point, though). They've matured considerably since, and while Stal has managed to live on unattached to the StH canon, Lightning 's still a work in progress.

The female Tornadow in a couple of the pics is Fyre, Lightning's rival/best friend/lover/lifemate. Stallion's mated with children too, but I'll show off his family another day.
