Time and time again, I return to drawing goofy dragons. They’re just so comforting to draw ;;
I also need to lay off using red, blue and yellow for everything, I shall work on it hhhhhah

All gorgeous. Goofy dragons are such sweeties.
You want color challenges? I would suggest neutral tertiaries (citron, slate, etc) or just trying out greens. The strobing effects you can get between apple and cyan greens... Better yet, start replacing one of the primaries with green or with brown or gray. Red-to-yellow-to-gray, like Fantastic Mr. Fox. Green-to-Yellow-to-Blue like a public health poster that didn't want to spend money on magenta ink. You understand the depth browns or grays or greens can have. If you don't, John Kricfalusi's blog is good for that stuff...
And are you a 90s kid? Neither am I.

I shall kiss them all.
Ahhh gosh man, thank you so much!! Yes yes, I definitely need to get into greens and citruses and just quieter colurs in general. I have a little mini-illustration series planned next in which there's gonna be a lot of quieter/darker greens and browns and greys. I DUNNO I love the aesthetic of RBY and they're my favourites BUT I definitely don't want to dig myself into a hole or stagnate/put myself in a rut!!
And Fantastic Mr Fox (Budapest Hotel too) is SO SO inspiring for colours, I went through that film once just to screencap particularly beautiful shots for composition and palettes.
OH JESUS for a brief second I thought that link was gonna the ARTIST Peaches, had flashbacks to a friend making me listen to some of her songs on the school bus with one of these bad boys

I'll gladly help. <3
I'm actually doing some color sketches right now, I could whip up a pastiche for that! You shan't rut, not if I can help it.
Wes Anderson's color palettes... I swear to god, I love how he integrates them into the storytelling. "Moonrise Kingdom" gave me a new appreciation for citrine and tan.
Oh god, memories. X3 Never that much in on her stuff, didn't even think of it here. So sorry for the flashbacks!
