The wonderful Mr WidorFox from Newcastle invited me to play on some of the fine organs in their churches. As a thank you and an opportunity to flex my composition muscles I wrote this piece to play and give to Widor Fox whilst there. Unfortunatly the organs were unavailable, however I got to have a go on the Carillon and suitably annoyed the population of Newcastle with my blues. Thanks Widor for arranging the visit, it was extremely interesting and enjoyable!
Unfortanatly the piece sounds like something from 'Saving Private Ryan'. Uploaded is the output from the notation software using a brass section. You can find the sheet music to download here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1977958/

Thanks for the comment! Its certaintly interesting to have a go at writing things for other instruments :o)
Hooray for another Logic Pro user! I use a piece of software called Sibelius for scoring things out, I tend to do it by hand on notation paper whilst at the piano composing, then scoring it out manually in the software afterwards.
For mixing and sequencing I use Logic. It has built in sheet music functionality, but frankly I find it so bad I never use it. I usually tend to score things out seperatly namely due to Logic liking things to be bang on the beat etc, and automatically generating sheet music always fails horribly when extracting from a sequence.
