Yes me and Titan have an obsession with volcano's and other geological activities along with planetary geology (the study of other planets geology).
Here's a list of volcano's and other geological places we visited:
Mt. Saint Helens, Crater's of the Moon, Yellowstone National Park, Crater Lake, Dinosaur Tracks near Tuba City Arizona and two caves that we can't remember their names. XP
As for the picture above, we don't take credit for it, its Mustafar from Star Wars E 3 Revenge of the Sith.
The picture represents our Dream to visit a volcanic world as well as visiting other volcanic sites on Earth as well.

Apparently Venus is roughly 470 C / 880 F on the surface, (according to Google)..
Whereas lava on Jupiter's IO may be similar to Earth lava, 700 - 1600 C / 1300 - 2900 F.
Though, Venus has extreme humidity for spreading high temperatures, whereas I suppose Mustafar would be more dry and
extreme temperatures would only be restricted very close to lava flows.
So I think a Mustafar-like world may be habitable on solid patches of crust.
You might need excellent heat shielding technology / materials for the occasional showers of hot particles or ash storms.
Such a world might be covered in diamond veins or granite, which you could export for the galactic economy, (as soon as we enter
interplanetary trade).

Yes it would have diamonds, but I heard their is a planet that's made of diamonds as far as their spectral analysis is telling them. We're now discovering Super Earths thanks to the Transit Effect where the Kepler Space Telescope watches multiple star at once and wait for a planet (if any in the system) to pass in front of their star. XD
Yeah. There may be millions of planets in our local galaxy in the habitable zones of their stars. Even a volcanic planet could be way outside the habitable zone but still be warm enough to counterbalance the cold. ;p
And some planets without any natural life could still be colonized for their resources. Maybe Earth could be called an "island planet" with mostly water and some land. One exoplanet they found may be all ocean with an ice core.

The University of Geneva managed to teleport a photon 15 miles / 24 km.
If we can somehow teleport radio signals, maybe we can contact any sentient systems instantly instead of waiting years for it to cross space.
And I think our current radio signals decay into garbled noise within a couple light years anyway..
And most of the light data we see from stars is out of date. An exoplanet transit we observe today might have happened 8 - 20 years ago..

You must read online science and books so much that your room is full of land marks that are made of book. XD
Btw I put you on my watch list XP
Their's also a Geophysicists working at NASA who is a furry, he even has a lecture video taped while he ware's a fursuit.
Are you into Paleontology and evolutionary biology?

Its ok to be nerdy, because I branched out into comic book recently and when my parents got a detail wrong in a plot I correct them and they don't mind it.
Aside from facts and evidence that we can touch with our hands I also read mythological stories from Ancient Greece to Polynesia folk lore as well as study psychology, however I also read up on paranormal phenomenons to occult symbols.
I leave no stone unturned no matter how absurd the subject may be. My nerdy room is called the Dragons Den. XD I keep myself busy and entertained, but in the end I learn.

Excellent. I suppose no harm in correcting people ;P
My lair has been called a "man cave" of sorts. Random laundry on the floor..
I found my dad's old comic book collections as a kid and tried to rationalize them. Like building an Iron Man suit or Batman technology.
I also did some occult mysticism stuff for a while at the age of 10. My old neighbor called me a "devil worshiper" at one point when I rallied the neighborhood
kids for some libation ritual.. Heh.
Interesting how the cultures of the world have some common themes in their stories. Like a great flood from the last ice age, or beings descending from the sky.
Or heavenly serpents like comet trails..

Sounds like you have some plethora of knowledge under your belt Brotoss, but lets be honest its not about who's smartest, its how well you adapted to the situation at hand and teach it on to other human or you kids.
If I've learned anything in this world it is live simple and be your self.

I'm also a dreamer too but sometimes: "Action without dreams is meaningless dance of motions, dreams without action is stagnation." This is why I also practice Martial Arts and Qi medicine/energy works. I also take walks in my home town and the near by park has a trail with trees out in nature.
If you have a re-interest in mysticism I have several book titles for recommendation, let me know. My favorite or should I say an attraction is Pagan Mysticism, Shamanism and Druidism.
I agree with your saying the simplest solutions are the hardest to swallow. XP

Super cool vid. ;0
Truly. I suppose any goal requires the initial spark and a good plan to keep it alive, when problems arise to be solved. I've long been fascinated by the Eastern concept of balancing opposites and keeping things in order and moderation.
Nature itself maintains a sort of balance, as each wave that rises on the surf also falls back. Events fade in and out.
I'd be interested to hear your suggestions.

Sorry I didn't respond I had to clean dishes and go to bed.
As far as I'm concerned about balance I see the need to balance the inner male and female energy's, when one or the other or both aspects are imbalanced illness and disorders happen.
My Aunt for example, caused electrical wires to sort circuit even from a distance. One time she was driving came to an intersecting with signal lights and just as she stopped the light short circuited and this happen many times before she decide to seek help of a Reiki Practitioner.
After some Reiki sessions her energy field didn't cause anymore shorting out of circuits. I'm not making this up, when my Aunt came to visit she told me and my mom of her unusual imbalanced state.
CRAZY but I felt my intuition saying "its true"
Speaking of Eastern Concept of balancing opposite, have you heard of the Gaia Theory by James Lovelock (and co-developed by the microbiologist Lynn Margulis)?
As for your fursona as a goat I'm not surprised at all in your interests, a far as goats are they have a deeper connection to the divine and Pan the Greek god of the wild, shepherds and flocks, nature of mountain wilds and rustic music, and companion of the nymphs is one such case. I'm sure their are other pantheons that has a goat god/goddess respectively.
Just letting you know Brotoss. XD

No worries, man. Thanks for the reply.
I agree. I gravitate toward goats for how they can be gentle, almost vulnerable creatures, but can also be aggressive / tough and adventurous. With both male and female attributes. Hard to keep a goat fenced in.
I also draw many overweight characters in contrast to my skinny frame IRL. Almost a yearning for balance.. And the wild has the romantic appeal of simpler living..
Very interesting. I was experimenting with an old radio not too long ago. When the signal was fuzzy, I put the antenna up to my head, parallel to the brain stem, and the signal was amplified. Almost like my nervous system was emitting an electric field that boosted the signal. And I think chemical imbalances are said to contribute to mood abnormalities and such..
Interesting. Just as ionized air around lightning is neutralized by contact with the ground, so too might a human electric field.. I dunno.
I've heard a bit of Gaia Theory. Organics and inorganics alike interact to keep things balanced?
Brotoss baaall (nah). ;p

Brotoss came from Starcraft, the Protoss are a warrior race so Bro came to be Brotoss. XP
I one time got so drunk that standing was harder then doing math XP So I lay down on the grass and decided to ground my self. As I ground myself for the next few minutes the drunken feeling lifted a bit, still drunk but manageable after I grounded.
The Earth element is the most stable of the four element, it absorbs and stabilizes along with grounding negative energy to be transmuted by Earth (Gaia).
Have you seen Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within, this movie more or less explains the Gaia Theory and more.
We are also beings of energy, for example Reptile entities energy feels sour like lemons and mammals energy field is sweet like sugar. In Astrology their are twelve sign, mine is the Pisces, Pisces energy is always looking inward, perceptive and obsessed these are my characteristics and my energy field has a tendency to tighten up some of the time. XP
An Arie energy sign is masculine, focused and ever moving forward.
A Libra energy sign is finding balance and a strong sense of justice.
You get my point now XP
We're energy, just condensed from vapor to solid.

Ahh. Excellent.
I also like the Zerg for their hivemind efficiency. I would argue an individual's personality is a hivemind of sorts unifying many divided pockets of thought into a singular whole.. A disorganized mind may be fraught with power struggles, with different parts of your personality vying for control.....
I suppose drukenness has that relaxing / liberating numbness, in contrast to tensing up with caffeine and such..
Hmm.. I haven't seen it before. Should be interesting to check out.
I see. Lightning is somehow dampened when it makes contact with the Earth. But is intensified if it flows through a watery human. And in contact with wood it converts into fire. Whereas at the spot of ionization, it can create a gust of air that travels as a sound wave. Perhaps lightning interacts with all four classical elements..
I've seen models of the "quark-gluon plasma." Like the surface of a primordial pond through which all string waves propagate, including electromagnetic and radio waves. Somehow the "color charges" create this effect. Thus, empty space can't be truly empty, as the quark-gluon pond is perhaps infinitely deep and wide.. And droplets from such a pond clump together to form superstrings. And we could all be knots of these energy string ropes... (nah, excuse my rambling).
I'm Sagittarius, (just barely short of Capricorn goat-hood by about a week). So I suppose curiosity and emotional detatchment would by my traits, trying to connect the tangible to the intangible, like Earth and the Heavens.

Personally a volcanic planet is a Volcanologist's and Geologist amusement park, me and Titan would put on an environmental suit and be up close and personal to a lava eruption like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAxj2ob_JoU XP
And we're also Trekkies XD

*Chuckles a bit.* It's just that it seems a little too dangerous for me, and holy crap i won't even have the guts to get that close to masses of molten rock and lava. I just really don't like the heat, i'm so much more tolerant to the cold than anything else. I tend to stay out of the heat, unless it's not too bad. ^^;
An icy planet like pluto would suit me just fine. I wonder if there is such thing as snow falling on planets like that one.
Cool cool!. On the Sci-fi side of things, the fandom i most identify with is the Star wars fandom. :)

I too am a Star Wars fan, both Star Trek and Star Wars are great stories. To be perfectly honest I also like ice planets to tundra planets as well. In my breams when I see lava or a lake of molten rock it means anger while the positive side might mean new opportunities of creating or reshaping your inner dream landscape, when I'm in the snow or more like seeing Antarctica their are two meanings, the positive side is enduring and surviving your waking life or better yet surviving through emotional isolation, and the negative side is feeling isolated and alone. Aside from Si-Fi and actual science I also study dream meaning.
Also in Earths past she went through not once but twice Snow Ball covered periods, where ice literally covered the whole Earth all the way to the equator and yet life didn't just survive but evolved into more complexity and diversified.

What you say makes alot of sense, indeed fire at times can symbolize anger. But of course it would symbolize creation too, because after all through fire this world was born right?. Hmm i didn't think to think about those moments in this planets history, but now you've reminded me. Your'e right about that too..
Dreamscapes eh..? Travelling into my own is something iv'e not being able to do yet, but i'd like to..

You don't have to be awake in your dreams (lucid dreaming) you just need to message your unconsciousness, all that's needed is giving that message a strong enough vibe to it. I've personally have done this in the past since I'm not awakened enough to astral project let alone lucid dream I message my unconscious, its like messaging a friend of an important meeting in a way.
Ultimately you just have to find what works for you and what doesn't work for you and you do dive into your dream landscape its just you don't recognize the land that is a projection of your waking life. Also it's not a matter of quantifying your dreams its a matter of feeling the dream.
I've been down this road too Nocttoss, I too felt I don't know what I'm doing and more importantly don't let other people who have psychic gifts that can learn in a matter of seconds get to you focus on nurturing your gifts along with your inner dream landscape.
