For years and years now I've been one of the regulars of an irc channel on irc.esper.net called #fateworld (initially dedicated to the artist Fatalis, though that has long since faded into oblivion). Over the years we've seen people come and go, but for quite some time now it has had the same (small) bunch of regulars in it. Several months ago a bit of a fight broke out and things nearly fell apart. Loathe to let the channel end, the founder and me conspired to do a bit of advertising to see whether we could draw in a few new people and that's where this picture comes in.

You see, at the time Carbon was still very much a developing character (even now I'm still working out more and more details of her character and life). Most of that initial development occurred in channel whenever I played her. No channel would mean that Carbon would not be played anymore, which would mean her development would stall as well. Ofcourse, this could not happen so I drew up the image you see above with the intention to accompany it with "Think of the Carbons!"

The channel still lives and anyone reading this is welcome to pay a visit. Keep in mind though that it's been some time since we've had new people along, so we may be a bit rusty in how to handle them :P

P.S. Just be patient if you do visit and don't get an answer right away... we tend to idle a bit much at times.
