Makima are like bees, when they reach working age, their physical traits are assessed, the leader then choses a role for them.
The roles are:
-Fighters:
Fighters are swift and strong, their orbs are normally purple, red, pink, dark blue or black or a mix. Their orbs are filled with poision that doesnt affect there own species.
-Protecter:
Protecters are large and bulky, normally capible of taking alot of hits, their orbs are normally lime, green, white, grey or light blue or a mix.
-Queen:
Queens are normally either pregnant, a mother, a normal female, or a female who is capable of healing. their orbs are normally very light pale colours such as light pink, lime, light blue, light cyan, light grey, light green, light purple. (no red or orange or yellow)
-Collecter:
Collecters are just normal male and female Makima, their orbs are normally any shade of yellow, orange and red.

About 50 percent of the hive are collecters, 15 percent are queens, 20 percent are fighters and 15 percent are protectors. there are normally 20-45 Makima in a hive.

From the floor to the head they are about 2 feet tall
