Aubrey Beardsley. Did a bunch of extremely risque and raunchy stuff during the art nouveau period. Used a lot of spirals and intricate stuff to create texture against otherwise very stark linework, often using either solid blacks or very thin-lined zones of white to set off highly ornamental sections, which is why I think your sheepy's delicately lined-in black areas and then crazy-spiralled zones call him to mind for me.

Well, not all of your work is reminiscent of all of his work, this one specifically seems similar to me.
That is not to say your work's bad! I mean, hey, I'm watching you for a reason. XD But I wouldn't say all of your work is reminiscent of Beardsley, stylistically. You seem to wander around a bit, style-wise...Which is a good thing. Builds ability.

Oh I am so deeply in love with that character design. Not only did you giver her the sheep eyes with the horizontal pupil, which I love so much, but you also gave her a mostly unique design when it comes to the fur! Swirlies, swirlies everywhere! Stylized and yet detailed in a most intruiging combination. *adores*
^^; Well, she's more or less a fluff character, so anything we want to do with her is gravey :D
It's so odd, when I started drawing her, I was thinking of how I could do the fluffy wool, and not kill my hand with detail, and oddly enough THIS is what I came out with. X3
