Where has this cat come from and why is he so aggressively threatening this small zigzagoon? What’s this lil’ fellow hiding from us?
I’ve never encountered such a strange huge pokemon species like him before. Who… what is he? Is he a luxray with two tails? No, he is too big to be a luxray. He is at least the size of an arcanine. I must be cautious! This guy looks seriously strong and dangerous; like he could easily beat me to a pulp. I must not show any sign of uncertainty... or fear!
"Dust, trouble boy, you may be big, but I am larger than life!"
What am I doing?! Does he fall for it? No, he knows I am just blowing smoke. This is going to be ugly. I hope I didn’t bit off more than I can chew.
Raq the male luxray-deoxys-anomaly
Ezra the male zigzagoon
Tesla the male jolteon alias the Rolling Thunder
As the night falls, the sun sets in strangely blue and purple colours behind the skyline of Goldenrod City. Soon the colours will fade and everything will become grey and black. Perhaps someone will take notice of Rolling Thunder’s uphill struggle at the riverside and come to the aid?
Fightingwolf helped me with Rolling Thunder's pose. This is a gift art for Ilrail. I am very happy he allowed me as one of the first artists to portrait his new pokemon hybrid characters in feral form. I hope the size difference turned out nice. Raq is larger than an average luxray. Hopefully his vulpix Asher will come to the aid. Rolling Thunder is tough as old boots, but I am sure this huge anomaly is a formidable foe. What about you? Would your pokesonas help the Rolling Thunder or try to save Ezra the zigzagoon too?

Done with drawing ink on 250g/m² illustration paper and GIMP 2.8. This image also was a field test for my new brushes and quills with ink.

Thank you so much!
Yes, he is huge, but defying even no-win situations and putting somebody else's well-being before oneself is crucial part of being a hero, I think.
I am glad you like the atmosphere. I could have used a photo for the background, but I decided to draw it by hand instead.

Maybe the Luxray has fell in an radio active storage container at the goldenrod powerplant?
or an gene is causing this mutation to occur.
what i do know is that i love the background, the purple water and the skyline gives an new dimension to the piece.
Awesome work Fangzahn!

I must admit, I don't know the details about Raq's origin. Maybe Ilrail will enlighten us later, when he submits the file to his FurAffinity gallery or he will answer here?
Thank you very much! Although my images are often purpleish I must give Ilrail credit for the idea of a purple colour pallet in this image, since he wanted a purple sunset as background theme.

That’s brave of Asher, but now I know out of character, that the little vulpix brat is actually in danger too because of his unique being! I wonder what Raq would do if he actually catches a shiny. Will he bring them to the Team Rocket henchmen he just escaped from?!
I also added a link to the submission in your gallery to my submission comment. I like your character’s points of view very much!
