I have a fine arts background, so I got really used to just painting on top of a bare-bones pencil sketch. To me loose, energetic brush strokes are always more fun than like... Locked down, Photoshop perfect textures. Painting zoomed out and with a big brush definitely stops me from getting bogged down in tiny details!
It's never too late to do countless studies! (Like 80% of my painting classes were studies......) I haven't streamed before because I don't usually just paint 100% of the time, and I feel like people might find that boring or annoying....
