That young boy is Tilt, he has problems, serious ones.
Tilt's mother had passed away recently about 2 months ago, his father drinking to the point of sucide, blamed Tilt for his wife's death. Her body was found under his bed after she read him a bed tme story from a very special book.
Now Tilt's only friends are Mr.Bunny-Bun, Carmen Dolpheen (the doll on the dresser who becomes a few fledged woman), and the creature known as Mr.Miscellanious. Tilt has to travel in the world of shadows, where as Carmen qoutes "is just an illusion of the mind, all you see is not real, and is real in the same state of thought as fear and serene.", to find his daddies soul and possibly free his mommies soul from the dark clutches that took her from him the first time.
